I wanted to take a moment out of my day to say I absolutely love the
products and service you provide. The quality of your green coffee is
second to none and the fact that it is fair trade, organic, etc. makes it
even better. You have become my exclusive green bean supplier.
I always get such a happy vibe from your website too. I find myself
yearning to consume all of my coffee so I can visit and buy some more and
try the next great variety you have to offer! So I suppose it is not
entirely unselfishly that I wish you success and prosperity for many years
to come. LOL

I am ordering beans for the third time. Since I found Puddinhead Coffee I have not ordered from any other supplier. The reason is simple: your green decaf beans are better than the competition's.

Yes, the coffee has a conscience and I do feel better ordering fair trade coffee, but I would not order your coffee if it was not high quality.

Fortunately, Puddinhead offers coffee that delights the palate while it soothes the conscience. So while you are highlighting the positive environmental aspects of your product, let your customers know your quality will keep them coming back for more.

I have taken a whack at the beans from Ecuador. As a single origin, I could not find the sweet spot. But as a blender, they are really good. I roasted separately and blended with beans from S. American, C. America, and Indonesia islands (did not do any African). With the Indonesians, they produce a smooth, buttery cup as it cools, even to the point where the coffee is closer to room temp than I like. Best brewing method: Chemex pour over. I roasted the beans longer at lower temp till I had one crack in the second, then a fast cool down.

I haven't served any to the masses at work yet, but I predict a good reception from most.

How is the roasted coffee wing of the Puddin Head Empire faring? I believe that people with a good idea and faith will prosper. Scheduling prosperity is out of our hands.

I have done a blend for espresso with the Brazil, Nic., and Colombian, and had very good success.

General feedback

Hi! I came across your site while working on a project for one of my college classes-developing a small business- and now I am using you as my coffee bean supplier for my imaginary business! Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for giving people an opportunity to by "coffee with a conscience" as you put it. Those were the exact things I was looking for in my imaginary coffee supplier, and I with more people would do that in real life. Thanks again for pitching in to make this place better for all of us!
